A couple’s intimate conversation unfolds around the man’s moving image project, shaped by his memories of the 2010 massacre in Thailand. As past and present intertwine, the dialogue gradually reveals the operation of image and sound that lie behind the state violence, while examining how they operate within such events, as evidence, as forces that shape public perception, and as elements bound up with the violence itself.

Drawing together internet footage, images of sites where protesters were killed, and representations of the artist’s body and identity connected to political events across more than sixteen years, the film traces moments from a personal life unfolding alongside broader political histories. Through these images and sounds, it explores the urban landscape of Bangkok, where traces of military repression and political trauma continue to linger beneath the surface in silence.
