In the midst of Juan Orlando Hernández’s dictatorship, Whitney (23) covers the first migrant caravan of 2018 on foot. More than ten thousand, almost all Hondurans, determined to reach the United States together. Crossing Mexico there is no return, but Whitney doesn´t quit. Her lens is witness of the terrible expression of a failed regime: the exodus toward Trump’s wall. Whitney no longer cares about risking her graduation and her life, her empathy with the others suffering is stronger.

Through Terco Producciones, she transforms regional fractures into universal monuments of memory. Her filmography features the iconic Who Said Fear?(2010), the award-winning investigation Berta Soy Yo (2022), and her recent human odyssey Whitney (2025).
