Guest Picks: Chulayarnnon Siriphol, 5 Films Not to Miss at WTD! 2026

Chulayarnnon Siriphol is a Thai artist and filmmaker whose practice moves across experimental film, documentary, performance, and video installation. His works often bring together memory, history, politics, mythology, and contemporary culture through humour and satire.

His short film Planetarium was part of Ten Years Thailand, presented at the Cannes Film Festival in 2018. In 2025, he also served as one of the jury members of the inaugural WTD! Film Festival. Most recently, Red Eagle Sangmorakot: No More Hero In His Story, a collaborative work with three other artists, won the Grand Prize at the Taoyuan International Art Award in 2025.

This year, Chulayarnnon returns to WTD! as our guest, selecting 5 films he thinks should not be missed at WTD! 2026.
